This is a letter of praise. So often it seems that all we hear is the negative when it comes to purchasing a used car, especially true outside a military base. Without getting into all of the details, I would like to let the readers of your blog and website know of the experience I recently had while purchasing a vehicle from the Slammer Car Lot. Your business logo is true and to the point….The Slammer Car Lot does “slam high prices”! A couple of weeks back I noticed a Ford Pick-up on your lot, the type of work truck that I’ve been looking for during the past few months to complete a fleet of vehicles I maintain for business. Up to this point I thought I would have to travel outside of Onslow County to receive an honest deal. The price of the truck was perfect, well below MSRP ….well exceeding my expectations. The truck I purchased is in great shape and after looking at other cars on your lot, I quickly concluded all cars on your lot have this common thread….exceptional quality.
After purchasing the truck I learned of your website and have been to it a few times. What you espouse on your website and blog is exactly what I found when dealing with the Slammer Car Lot. The “purchase” experience was friendly, comfortable, honest, and professional. The transaction was very smooth and to the point. The truck I purchased was recently serviced, mechanically sound and safe. Your commitment to taking care of your customers is a RARITY these days, and is so greatly appreciated. Your care in dealing with me has really made an impression. I am a retired Marine and have been in the Jacksonville community since 1976 and recommend those looking for a used car….make a visit to the Slammer Car Lot.
